Rakhi Sawant to continue working post marriage
Finally, Miss Rakhi Sawant is going to turn into Mrs. Rakhi Parujanwala on August 2 on the smaller screen. However, Rakhi has refused to quit work and join her Toronto based husband. Moreover, she would also not want her husband to quit work and become as ‘Gharjamai’. So, Toronto-based entrepreneur Elesh Parujanwala has decided to shift base to Mumbai from Toronto.
Speaking about his future plans, Elesh said, “There won’t be any need for a long-distance marriage, or for Rakhi to join me in Toronto. I’ve already shifted a part of my business from Toronto to Mumbai and I intend to stay put in Mumbai for a very long time.”
On his taking part in this reality show, Elesh explains, “At first I was skeptical. In fact I initially expressed my misgivings to the program’s creators. I didn’t want my children to one day ask me why I married their mom on a game show. But I’m glad I came on ‘Rakhi Ka Swayamvar’. It isn’t a game, though it may be a show being watched by millions. For Rakhi and for me it’s a matter of life and death.”
”I used to watch Rakhi Sawant in her films and her music videos. At that time I never thought I’d one day be asking her hand for marriage. Life is funny,” he laughs.
Apparently, Rakhi’s brother Ravi Kishan helped and guided her in choosing Elesh over and above other contestants. Says Ravi Kishan, “Elesh always stood out. And I told Rakhi this. The less said about some of the other contestants the better. One of them Manmohan Tiwari had so much attitude, it was almost like he was trying to be the small screen’s Ravi Kishan. Sadly the channel encouraged him to behave the way he did, arguing that it enhanced the TRPs. He behaved very badly with Rakhi. He had a girlfriend tucked away all the time. Why was he wooing Rakhi then? I told her Elesh was the best guy for her.”

‘Kaminey’ gets an ‘A’ certificate from Censor Board
It is a nightmare come true for Vishal Bhardwaj whose ambitious project ‘Kaminey’ has been awarded an ‘A’ certificate by the censor board which means a loss of young crowd which form a considerable percentage of the viewers.
The examining committee reportedly saw the flick on Tuesday afternoon and suggested some major cuts as they felt that the film was just too violent. When Vishal refused to either go for chopping his scenes or accept an ‘A’ certificate, the revising committee with Sharmila Tagore as the Chairperson watched it with a panel of members in Delhi yesterday afternoon. The committee, however, gave an ‘A’ certificate again.
The production house, on the other hand, defends the violence in the film saying that they have already made some cuts Your browser may not support display of this image. and the abusive language used in the film is marginal. As the film is based on the underworld, violence and darkness is but naturally felt in the movie.

‘Life Partner’ is a comedy based on love and marriage
Produced by Abbas Mastaan and directed by Rumy Jaffrey, the forthcoming flick ‘Life Partner’ is all about love and marriage. The film stars Govinda, Fardeen Khan, Genelia D’Souza, Tusshar Kapoor, and Prachi Desai. The music for the film is by Pritam and the lyrics have been penned down by Javed Akhtar.
‘Life Partner’ is about the struggle in marriage where Karan (Fardeen Khan) and Sanjana (Genelia D’Souza) go in for love marriage and Bhavesh (Tusshar Kapoor), and his life partner, Prachi (Prachi Desai) struggle to make their arranged marriage successful.
Govinda plays Jeet who is an accomplished divorce lawyer who does not believe in the institution of marriage and is often responsible for his getting his clients divorced. The movie promises to give a rib tickling three hour entertainment.

Get geared up for the desi version of ‘Hangover’
The recent Hollywood flick ‘Hangover’ was a bit hit and the story of the film involved four guys who attend a 24 hour stag party in LA. When they wake up they realize that the groom has gone missing and this happens to be the worst hangover of their life.
Now, the flick will be made in Hindi by Firoz Nadiadwala who has bought the rights of the movie for its desi version. The movie will be directed by Anees Bazmee. Abhishek Bachchan will play the role played by Bradley Cooper and Paresh Rawal will enact the character played by Zach Galifianakis. Katrina Kaif will play the role of the fiancée. The film will start early next year in the locales of South Africa.
Riteish Deshmukh and Sanjay Dutt are also being considered for the roles. Firoz will start on the script as soon as he wraps up ‘No Problem’.

Celina Jaitley goes vampy this season
Celina Jaitley has already been much in news for her take lesbians. Now, she is all set to show some of her acting skills and also shock everyone with her entirely new negative look. In her next movie ‘Accident on Hill Road’ she’ll be playing a negative character and she reportedly took 15 days to decide on the right style for the character and chose a very vampy appearance. She also joined a 10 day acting workshop to brush up on her acting skills.

“The new look has been created by Hakim Aalim. It was required to cut 10 inches of hair for the look. However, what he ended up doing was save locks of ten inches for me”, laughs Celina.

Mugdha Godse celebrates her 27th birthday
Mugdha Godse had won rave reviews for ‘Fahsion’ and she had also won a warm and close friendship with her ‘Fashion’ co-star Priyanka Chopra on the sets of the movie. So, it did not come as a surprise when Priyanka was seen giggling and enjoying her self on Sunday on the celebration of Mugdha’s 27th birthday.
Also present were her ‘Jail’ co-star Neil Nitin Muskesh and director Madhur Bhandarkar. Neil and Mugdha were seen enjoying each other’s company. Mugdha Godse really got drunk at the party.

Now, they come together once again for another hard hitting yet sensitive tale of an ordinary man in their forthcoming ‘Jail’ which stars Neil Nitin Mukesh, Mugdha Godse, Manoj Bajpayee in the lead roles. The music has been given by Shamir Tandon and Toshi - Sharib, and the lyrics are from Sandeep Nath, Ajay Garg, Kumar, Turaz.
Neil plays the main protagonist, Parag Dixit, who has all the joys in his life- A great job, a lovely house, a loving girlfriend Maansi, a night out with friends at some suburban watering hole after a hard day’s job…

The Sen sisters are full of praises for each other
The Sen sisters have always been admired in Bollywood, for different reasons though. The elder one, Riya Sen, is known for her glamorous and sexy image, where as the younger sis, Raima Sen is known for some very serious and challenging performances. Now, the two sisters are coming together for the first time in Rituparno Ghosh’s ‘Noukadubi’ and both will be playing roles which are apparently just the opposite of their images. Where Riya plays a de-glam village housewife, Raima will be playing a sophisticated woman.
Insiders say that initially Riya felt that Raima’s character had greater strength, prominence, and scope as compared to hers, but then she went ahead as her role was challenging too.

The accused Ronaldo Lising, Randy Potts, John Virgil Punko and Jean Joseph Violette laughed and congratulated their lawyers after the verdict.Hells Angel Ronaldo Lising had a substantial criminal record for assault and trafficking cocaine and crystal methamphetamine, and was on bail when he was arrested on the two firearms offences now before the court.“Mr. Lising is a sophisticated criminal,” the prosecutor told B.C. Supreme Court Justice Selwyn Romilly.“He leads a criminal lifestyle,” Levitz added, reading out a wiretap statement in which Lising confided he was taking a risk, especially since he has children, but also had to weigh the rewards of his activities.The Crown asked the judge to impose a 30-month sentence, consecutive to the nine years and three months Lising is already serving.Four Hells Angels laughed and shook hands with their lawyers Monday after a jury acquitted them of committing crimes in association with, or for the benefit of, a criminal organization.While the jury returned nine guilty verdicts on a 28-charge indictment against the four members of the Hells Angels' East End chapter, the rejection of the criminal organization charge was a blow to the Crown.Had it succeeded, it would have been the first such conviction in B.C. against the Hells Angels, which has always maintained it is just a motorcycle club.
It was the second failed test case of the anti-gang law against the Hells Angels in B.C. arising from the same $10-million police investigation."It's unfortunate the jury wasn't able to conclude what judges in other parts of Canada found -- that the Hells Angels is a criminal organization," prosecutor Mark Levitz said outside court after the verdict.The jury did find the accused guilty of some extortion and weapons offences "and we're pleased to that extent," he said.The verdict, which followed three days of jury deliberations and a nine-month trial, was also a disappointment to police, who promised to pay $1 million to key witness Michael Plante, who worked as a police agent and infiltrated the East End chapter of the Hells Angels.

He was also convicted of the illegal possession of a loaded Beretta 20 semi-automatic pistol and a Ruger SP 101 revolver.Punko was convicted of counselling Plante to commit mischief by wilfully damaging property, and the unauthorized possession of a loaded Smith & Wesson semi-automatic pistol.The two-year, $10-million police investigation that led to the just-concluded trial has also resulted in other criminal proceedings. Negar Khan to sizzle in the jungle
‘Iss Jungle Se Mujhe Bachao’ had been facing some problems and the contestants seemed to be quitting away on issues related to certain tasks and also on account of the kind of food they were given. Thankfully, the issues have been sorted out and the action is up and going on the program.
The heat will soar up at the show with a new sizzling entrant Negar Khan who will make a wild card entry. The hot model was originally destined to be a part of the show but could not make it because of her visa problem. The entire cine goers clan, the Bollywood fraternity along with Kamal Hassan wait with baited breath as newbie Shruti Hassan makes her grand debut with ‘Luck’ opposite Imran Khan. The on-screen chemistry between the couple as seen in the trailers and in the promotional events looks promising. Also, Shruti get to show some of her versatility as she does some karate and martial arts rounds in the flick with veterans like Sanjay Dutt and Danny Denzongpa.

Neil and Anoushka Sharma set the ramp afire with their chemistry
She is just one film old in the tinsel town, but before she stepped into the Bollywood zone she was and is still a well-known name in the world of modeling and ramps. Talking about Anoushka Sharma, who had a dream debut opposite SRK in ‘Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi’, the gal meets her first love again and walks the ramp for a dazzles on ramp for Jack and Jones, an International clothing brand, which held a fashion show for launch of its store in Bangalore.
