Vijay's support to Jaya's AIADMK

A press release from the AIADMK headquarters from Chennai states that director SA Chandrasekar had met the AIADMK chief J Jayalalitha to pledge his support to the party during the forthcoming elections. He also informed her that the members of the Ilayathalapathy Vijay Makkal Iyakkam will extend their full support in all the constituencies to ensure the party’s win.

The press note stated that Jayalalitha extends her thanks to actor Vijay and SA Chandrasekar for the support.
Vijay is currently busy shooting for Nanban and hence it is not clear if he would campaign for the AIADMK in person.

Vijay is at present concentrating on his next project Velayudham, which is a remake of a Telugu film Azad. His forthcoming film Kaavalan is set free from all the controversies and is hitting the screens with lots of expectations.

They were many speculations regarding Vijay’s next film after Velayudham. It is heard that he will be doing a film with Director Seeman and the film is titled as “Kobam”. Initially the film is titled as ‘Pagalavan’, but the director made an immediate change in the title recently. However there is no official confirmation about the cast and crew of this film.

Vijay Request to Udhayanidhi's Kavalan Movie Release

Intially the actor decided not to part Sun pictures in this project and only then started the film but now as he has no theaters for release atlast went in for the help of Udhayanidhi in a faith that he would help him as Udhayanidhi started his carrer through the mass hero Vijay film “Kurivi” but in turn Udhayanidhi strictly repid that Vijay can release his film Kavalan on 9th till 16th as he has to release Kamal Haasan starrer film “Manmadhan Ambu” on 17th. And so, its told that Vijay goes Poes Garden for any resolution.

Ilayathalapathy Vijay flew to USA, for work cum a brief holiday. He is in Bay Area in San Francisco, to “meet and greet” his fans. Sources close to Vijay confirmed: Vijay said: “Ilayathalapathy Vijay is in Bay Area as a part of his US tour to promote Kaavalan and will also be meeting his fans in a meet and greet.”

Vijay is getting increasingly popular in US; across the border in Canada he has a huge fan base. Vijay will be singing for his fans in a ‘Vijay Unplugged’ show during his trip. The actor will meet his fans at Indian Cultural Centre on December 16th where a huge contingent of Indian Diaspora is expected to meet their favourite star.
